How to prepare excellent toasts with peppers and bacon, an easy recipe to prepare quickly and with few ingredients, tips and tricks regarding the procedure.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 4 slices of pan carré
- 2 sweet and firm red peppers
- 4 slices of bacon
- 40 g butter
- salt
Preparation of toasted peppers and bacon
Put plenty of water in a pot and, after bringing it to the boil, dip the peppers for 5 minutes, then peel them and cut them in half, removing all the seeds and filaments.
Toast and butter the slices of bread with thirty grams of butter.
Brown the slices of bacon in a pan with a little butter, waiting for them to become crunchy but without burning them.
Remove the bacon and keep it warm, then sauté the peppers for 5 minutes in the residual fat, salting them slightly.
Arrange the slices of bread on a plate and arrange on each a slice of bacon and half a pepper on it, then serve immediately.
