Ingredients for 4 people
- gr. 300 of thinly sliced stale bread
- 2 cloves of garlic
- a pinch of oregano
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- salt
How to prepare the Tuscan pancotto
Boil a liter of salted water with the lid, with the oregano, garlic and a handful of grated cheese.
Stir and when the garlic is cooked, remove it and add the stale bread cut into thin slices and the olive oil.
Serve after a few minutes, the bread should not be too soaked, adding more grated cheese.
